Don't be surprised if you are first greeted with a sincere handshake by one or more of our friendly and caring members! Our services always have a dedicated starting time, but never really have a set ending time. All we know to do is to follow the Spirit of the Lord, and whatever He might lay on our hearts, giving Him all of the glory and praise!

Our services normally begin with any special announcements that need to be made, and then everyone is welcomed to join the choir in singing. Although, you might discover someone sharing a testimony, singing a song, sharing prayer requests, sharing devotionals, or simply just raising their hands and shouting "Praise the Lord"!

We have been very blessed with a wonderful pastor and a wonderful group of ministers, all who are sincerely devoted to studying the Bible and truly preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Occasionally, we may even have a former or visiting pastor stop in, who may feel lead to deliver a sermon or message.

We always have an open invitation for anyone who may feel the need to come to the alter and pray. Whether it be someone who may be lost or unsaved, someone who does not know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, or someone who just feels down and burdened, they will always have plenty of our loving members who will be ready and willing to join them in prayer!

Words really can't describe what you might feel and experience at Hoitt Avenue Baptist! So, we invite and encourgage you to come and join us in fellowship, and in worshiping our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! If you come expecting a blessing, and to be renewed in the Spirit, we are quite certain that you won't be disappointed!
