Jason, we've been visiting Hoitt Avenue for a couple of months now and we love it there.  It's like home to us and we've been fed by God's word.  What a blessing it has been to worship with you all.

We found out this past Sunday that Mammaw (Joyce Busler) has cancer.  It's in her lungs, on her brain, her liver, her thyroid, her adrenal gland and just found out this morning she also has bone cancer.  She is a child of God and if it's her time, she's ready to go.  Then, my Dad (Harold Witt) had to be rushed to the ER last night and he was in terrible pain.  They said that it may also be cancer, but are waiting to do a CT scan and waiting on those results to see what it may be.  My family needs your prayers as this is the most difficult time for us.  My father is also saved by the grace of God.  We need God's strength right now.

Thank you.

We sure will continue to pray, and I will add them to our bulletin's prayer request list.  I know that the Lord Jesus Christ will help see you all through this, He is the Great Physician!  We love you all, and if you need anything, please don't hesitate to let us know!

Your brother in Christ,
Jason

I haven't been on here in a couple of weeks.  Just wanted to let everyone know that Dad is at home and is doing better.  Daddy had a herniated disc that was lying on a nerve and was causing him a lot of pain.  They did surgery and he says his back feels much better.  While he was in the hospital, they found that he was having some stomach issues and when they were running tests, they did a biopsy.  They found he has a stomach infection called h. pylori and they are treating it with antibiotics.  He's happy to be home.

My grandmother has good days and bad days.  They've called in hospice to help make sure she's comfortable.  She is in good spirits, though.  She said a couple of weeks ago that she's too tired to fight and decided not to have chemo.  It's all in God's hands and I know that when it's her time, she's ready to go.

I appreciate all the prayers that have been offered up on behalf of my family.

We love all of you!

Kristi
