The last Community Outreach we had was on May 7th 2008 and it was definitely a blessing to us all! We had so much food to give out in the community, and so many members participating, that we had to separate into 2 large groups, and we barely finished giving it all out the first night! Our members got to pray with some who were in need, and many people in the community were blessed through God's grace and kindness! We are all looking forward to the next Community Outreach soon, so please check back for dates and information.

During Vaction Bible School (June 23rd - 27th), the boys and girls competed to see who could bring in the most books, coloring books, and crayons. The girls took their title back this year and had nearly twice as much as the boys. Our Youth Group got to take the materials to Childrens Hospital on August 18th and had it out to the children at the hospital. It was definitely a blessing for all that were able to participate and the children were so happy that someone cared enough to spend time with them during their time of trial and need.

Jesus Christ has truly blessed our church in allowing us to reach out and help those in need. Please keep praying that the Lord will continue to open more opportunities for our church to reach out into the Community and show them that people still really do care, and show them the true love that Jesus Christ has in store for them. We can always use people who are willing to help, whether you are a member or not, and we will definitely put you to work.
